In order to deliver the highest value to our customers, we at GKN Aerospace are continuously working to make our supply chains more effective and at the same time improve collaboration with all supply partners. As a next step in our functional transformation towards these goals we are happy to inform you that GKN Aerospace’s new online collaboration platform, Tradeshift, is available for you to manage GKN’s purchase orders, forecasts and other features, which make our business interfaces more intelligent.

GKN Aerospace is also proud to announce its aim to completely digitize its non-product related spend (i.e. ‘indirect spend’) procure-to-pay process. This will be realized by integrating our indirect spend processes into the same Tradeshift solution. Ultimately, this business network platform will be deployed for both direct and indirect spend, globally.

What does the platform offer?

On the Tradeshift Collaboration Platform, GKN Aerospace offers her supply chain partners a flexible solution to optimize supplier collaboration through one single portal and connection for all of their business with GKN Aerospace entities. The platform fully automates all supply chain processes and can seamlessly integrate with ERP systems.

This platform automates the direct spend process by capturing all information in one single interface for Forecasts, Purchase Orders, Purchase Order Confirmations, Advance Ship Notice (ASN) and electronic invoicing messages. Everyone within the purchase to pay environment gets full end-to-end visibility over real-time process activities.
